The Head of Public Affairs Unit is responsible for managing the organization's public relations, communications, and media strategies to ensure a positive image and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

MRS OYEBIYI OYEKEMI

Oyekemi Olubisi is a public servant and communications professional currently serving as the Head of the Public Affairs Unit at Apapa Local Government since 2024. She attended Methodist Primary School, Surulere, and St. Louis Girls Grammar School, Ibadan. She holds a B.A. (Hons) in Religious Studies from Ondo State University, (now University of Ado-Ekiti), a PGD in Public Relations and Advertising (NIJ), and a Master’s degree in Public Administration and International Affairs (University of Lagos). She began her career with the Lagos State Local Government Commission and has served across several LGAs/LCDAs, including Ikeja, Ojokoro, Badagry, Mosan-Okunola, Surulere, and Apapa, from 2008 till date. She is committed to public service, effective communication, and community engagement, and continues to promote transparency and strong public relations in her role.
